Many of the Delta’s antique stores specialize in mid-20th century furniture, providing shoppers with a range of styles and designs to choose from. Other stores carry a variety of collectibles, ranging from porcelain dolls to vintage glassware. The Mississippi Delta also offers a wide selection of unique items such as old books, photographs, coins, and quilts. These items make for excellent conversation pieces and can be found in antique stores and flea markets throughout the area. The Antique Mall is just down the road in the town of Indianola and offers a wide variety of antiques. This is a great stop to combine with a visit to BB King Museum and Delta Interpretive Center (also in Indianola) on any tour through the Delta.
